Mrs. Morris is the counseling center secretary. Mrs. Morris has worked in administrative support for over twenty years in schools, hospitals, and private industry. She particularly enjoys working with and supporting students and their families.
The General Smallwood counselors encourage regular parent/teacher communication. We ask that parents contact the teacher directly with any concerns in their class before contacting the counselor or Mrs. Morris to schedule a conference.

Parent/Guardian must have a photo ID at the time of registration.
Students must be withdrawn from current school
Birth certificate and immunization records are required at the time of enrollment
Two proofs of residency are required in order register your child. Some acceptable proofs are: Dead, lease, utility bill (electric, water/sewer, and gas). Please contact the Counseling Center for a complete list of acceptable proofs. Both proofs are due at the time of registration.
Withdrawals
Must be done by parent or guardian

Please allot at least 20 minutes for the withdrawal process. Copies of paperwork needed to help with registration at the new school will be given: birth certificate, immunization record, current grades and/or report card, class placement, state test scores.
You must return all school materials and settle all student debt
Make-Up Work Procedures
Make-up work is only collected for students who are out for three (3) or more consecutive days. Students out less than three days can collect make-up work from their individual teachers.
Contact the Counseling Center with the student's name, grade, and number of days work is needed. Work will be available two full business days after request is made. No work will be available the same day requested.
